What are you looking for in a home?
From the blue ribbon banks of the Gallatin River to the top of the mountains in the world-famous Yellowstone Club and everywhere in between, Spanish Peaks Home Builders specializes in custom mountain construction and design build projects. The design build concept allows us to help you build a team, from the architect and engineer to the design consultants and decorators. Selections are made based upon your personal interests and desires – what you’re looking for in a home. Whether western contemporary, mountain rustic or even historical old west style with all the latest modern day technologies built-in, we have put the teams together and built homes to suit the broad range of our clients’ interests. Our portfolio ranges from Jackson Hole, WY to Big Sky, MT, including projects from 2000 square foot cabin-style homes to 21,000 square foot exclusive custom homes to an extensive background in commercial mountain resort construction.

“I feel (Spanish Peaks Home Builders) is the best company I have ever worked with, due to the quality of construction and their efficient manner of working with their clients.”
- Joel T. Long, MT

Taking custom home building to a new level of quality
Our homes stand the test of time and value. Spanish Peaks Home Builders knows the quality and what our clients expect. From the care with which we finish the architectural elements to the care with which every foot of concrete is poured, every timber selected, every joint fit, every pipe placed, every wire strung and every tile grouted, our professionalism and our attention to such details define your experience and your satisfaction.

Our credo “Do it right, do it once,” is how we view every aspect of construction and instill the same in everyone who contributes to your project. You will not find any cut corners or hidden issues in any of our homes, period. To accomplish this, we employ only the most qualified personnel to manage your project and only the best subcontractors and vendors to perform the work. This approach to construction enables us to achieve a successful balance using the highest quality materials and practices available, while keeping your financial interests in mind.

”The quality of work far surpassed my expectations. (Spanish Peaks Home Builders) certainly did not cut corners in terms of quality of materials or craftsmanship while building. Furthermore, the construction crew has been very attentive to any requests or changes we have asked of them.”
- Owner, CT

Building in the mountains is different
This rugged country, with extremes of geology and weather that have sent the faint-hearted home for hundreds of years - we know this country. And while we wouldn’t claim we’ve tamed her, we’ll build your home so you won’t have to. Our homes are built to endure, like Montana’s legends, her mountains and her streams. With varying soils and a diverse geotechnical landscape, you need someone with experience and knowledge to provide a solid foundation for your project. Spanish Peaks Home Builders has the experience, resources, and resolve to do just that. Building costs, labor availability, geotechnical and environmental safeguards need to be considered when designing and constructing projects at higher elevations and in remote locations. We will partner with you, maintain the same confidence and excitement with which you embarked, and create an enduring house you will be proud to call home.

”Everything that was agreed upon between (Spanish Peaks Home Builders) and me was done in a very timely and professional manner, meeting all of my expectations concerning detail and workmanship.”
-Tom Weiskopf

Trust your team when you are miles away
There are a lot of characters in Montana, likely to bring a smile. But you don’t want characters building your home. You want a home that reflects your own character and becomes an extension of the environment in which it is built. We build our customers’ second homes, or third. They expect quality. They know how to look for it. They select Spanish Peaks Homes Builders because we value detail and endurance and build them in to every element of every home.

Our experience and knowledge will be your greatest asset, especially as an absentee owner living far enough away that you will need to trust your team and communicate continuously. Spanish Peaks Home Builders understands this long distance process. From design ideas to complex problem solving, the owners should never feel like they are out of the communication loop. This communication is consistently realized through e-mail and phone conferencing along with a web-based program where individual owners can login to view documents and photo galleries of their project. The most important factor to the success of a project is communication.

”We are absentee owners who were very actively involved in the project. The word that best characterizes the (Spanish Peaks Homes Builders) team we worked with is “professional”. For any project, the importance of professionalism is a factor but for the absentee owner, it is of primary importance. Throughout the process, I was never concerned that shortcuts were being taken or that I would make a site visit that left me with the feeling that maybe things were not being done the way they should. And that says a great deal about the team responsible for our project.”
- B.A. Chicago, IL

Your home, your legacy
From the first home constructed at the Yellowstone Club, and the first at The Club at Spanish Peaks, to your own homestead in the Big Sky panorama, we have one singular mission: turn the dreams of the owner and the plans of the architect into an enduring Montana home that protects, comforts, entertains and sustains the families who trust our craft.

As our track record will attest, we provide our clients with advice and counsel, and listen to and internalize their concerns and critiques. We control costs with every decision and offer any viable value engineering alternatives, but never cut corners. We will carefully set your expectations, and consistently exceed them. With no hidden costs, an open book policy, and a proven history in the local area, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind knowing that honesty and integrity are never compromised or questioned.

We would be honored to build your enduring home in Montana.
