About:
Jackson Hole craftsman John Walker began honing his woodworking skills as a 16-year-old. For years he carefully plied his craft while creating individual works of art. Some 25 years later, having founded Mill Iron Timberworks, he channels that same passion and attention to detail into crafting much larger pieces of artistic achievement - works of art his clients awake to and call "home".
Now John offers his discerning eye to those who yearn for the finely crafted Rocky Mountain homes of their imaginations. Under his watchful direction, Mill Iron Timberworks has constructed homes in western Wyoming and southern Montana for the past nine years.
John is committed to personal service and limits the number of projects to four or five a year: "Client communication is singularly the most important thing we do. It's important that home owners' needs are met; working out details face to face is the best way to make certain they are satisfied with their homes."
