Question - What specifications are your flooring milled to?
Answer - We mill our Specialty Hardwoods to: 4" - 10" wide, and 6' - 12' long. Tongue & Groove. We mill our Wide Premium, Rustic, and Country Pine to: 4" - 18" wide, and 6' - 12' long. Straight Edge or Ship Lap. Each floor is custom milled to order.

Question - Where does your lumber come from?
Answer - We purchase specially selected grades of lumber from local Vermont sawmills that have access to high quality timber. The Flooring Mill picks particular boards to meet its strict standard of grading.

Question - Do you offer Antique Flooring?
Answer - Yes, Antique Heart Pine, Antique Oak, Antique Chestnut. We also offer two alternatives: a Barn Style Hit or Miss, this has a classic antique look of knotty pine with random circular saw marks and slightly chamfered edges. Our Hand Hewn Pine Flooring is hand planed on one face with chamfered edges.

Question - Do you deliver?
Answer - Yes, The Flooring Mill delivers locally within VT, and we ship nationwide outside of VT via common carrier.
