We fabricate all doors, drawers, and casework from scratch, not choosing to buy prefabricated parts, so we can control the quality and wood matching that sets our products off. Do I need a designer to figure out what I want my cabinets to look like? We have, and love, to work with many of the best designers in the country. It is always a pleasure working with professional people with a well thought out concept of style. It is not a requirement. We have years of hands on design experience and can help develop an overall feel to any job. What wood species should I use? My feeling is that you should pick the wood you like the best. The bulk of the cost of fabricating is in the labor. The raw materials, unless you chose a rare, exotic wood, is usually similar in cost. How long will my job take? We pride ourselves in keeping to owners and contractors time schedules. It can become a nightmare on a job site if painters or tile people are waiting on pieces that never seem to show up. Our realistic assessments of time frame help eliminate many of these nightmares. How much will my job cost? I have been estimating cabinet jobs for 28 years. I may not be the cheapest price on the streets but I have an excellent track record of realistic pricing. I will not price a job low simply to get the work. I feel it is better to be up front with pricing that to come begging for more money half way through the job. My itemized estimating program seems to work well.
